Caitlyn Shadbolt, the girl from Gympie has been lauded by many as ‘one to watch’.

A finalist in the sixth season of The ‘X Factor’ Australia (2014), Caitlyn secured a recording deal with ABC MUSIC and released her debut album, Songs On My Sleeve (May 2017). Upon release, the album hit #1 on the ARIA Country Album chart. The first single, ‘My Break Up Anthem’, held the #1 National Country Airplay Chart for over 8 consecutive weeks and became the 2nd most played song on Country Radio (held out of the top spot by Sam Hunt’s monster hit ‘Body Like A Backroad’).

Australian artist/songwriter Melanie Dyer burst onto the country-pop scene in 2015 with startling vibrancy. Her EP ‘Lifetime’ was both a stunning artistic blueprint and a tearaway chart success. The title track and video spent several weeks in the CMC Top 50 and cracked the Top 10 on The Music Network Country Radio Airplay chart, along with singles ‘Busy Doing Nothing’ and ‘All You Need To Know About Me’. The EP signalled the arrival of a phenomenal new voice and songwriter in Australian music – both in the world of country and on the local pop landscape.

It’s no coincidence that Blake O’Connor had one of the best selling albums at two of Australia’s biggest country music festivals. His music is often described as incorporating the outlaw country of Chris Stapleton, the blues of Tedeschi Trucks Band with the melodic soft rock of John Mayer. His shows are not to be missed!

As a two time 2020 CMAA Award (Country Music Association of Australia) nominee, Blake won the prestigious Qantas New Talent of the Year Award. He was also nominated for Male Artist of the Year up against international star Morgan Evans.

Fronted by legendary roots man Ras Roni from Barbados via London, Fijian LTL GZeus and Sierra Leonian Blaka C, The Strides deliver a musical experience that is as powerfully explosive as it is authentic. With three acclaimed albums already under their belt, a European label signing, festival appearances across the country and having graced the stage with the likes of Julian Marley, Tony Allen, Third World and Groundation, The Strides’ music faithfully builds on the foundations of classic roots reggae with a hip-hop edge, forging a sound that brings together modern dance hall, dub beats and reggae-pop. The Strides have forged a truly global sound melding a diversity of cultures and instrumentation under the one universal consciousness.
